Tampa Sports Authority Announces Road Closure for Three Nights of Performances
Ahead of three straight nights of Taylor Swift concerts at Raymond James Stadium, the Tampa Sports Authority has announced that at least one road will be closed around the venue.
The road closure will be in effect from 4 p.m. to midnight on April 13, 14, and 15. The affected road is Himes Avenue between Dale Mabry Highway and Tampa Bay Boulevard.
The Tampa Sports Authority advises concertgoers to plan for extra travel time and to use alternate routes if possible. The authority also recommends that concertgoers arrive early to avoid traffic delays.
In addition to the road closure, the Tampa Sports Authority has released the following information for concertgoers:
- Parking: There will be limited parking available at Raymond James Stadium. Concertgoers are encouraged to carpool or use public transportation.
- Traffic: Expect heavy traffic around Raymond James Stadium before, during, and after the concerts. Concertgoers should allow extra time for travel.
- Security: There will be increased security at Raymond James Stadium. Concertgoers should be prepared to go through security checks.
