Montana State Earns Sixth Seed in FCS Playoffs
Bobcats to Host No. 11 Weber State in First Round
Bozeman, Montana – Montana State earned the sixth seed to the 2023 FCS Playoffs on Sunday and will host the No. 11-ranked Weber State Wildcats in the first round.
The Bobcats, who finished the regular season with a 9-1 record and a perfect 7-0 mark in Big Sky Conference play, will host the Wildcats at Bobcat Stadium on Saturday, November 26.
Montana State is making its 15th appearance in the FCS Playoffs, and the Bobcats are looking to make a deep run in the tournament this year. The Bobcats have won at least one playoff game in each of their last four appearances, and they advanced to the semifinals in 2019.
Weber State finished the regular season with an 8-3 record, and the Wildcats are making their second appearance in the FCS Playoffs. The Wildcats won their first-round game last year, and they are looking to make a similar run this year.
